Children's Ministry Staff
David Selph, Children’s Pastor, has been involved with Church for nearly all of his life. Raised in Brunswick, GA, and brought up in the Church, he started singing in the Teen Choir and playing in the Church band in his early teens. David has traveled on mission’s trips, once to Haiti – at the beginning of a revolution, played and recorded Southern Gospel and Black Gospel music, been the only “Light-skinned-Brother” in churches, and worked with his wife ministering to kids; what-ever God has directed him to do. David and his wife Leticia have been married for 18 years and are the parents of Katelen and Jacob. They’ve completed the Ministerial Affirmation and Ministerial Internship Programs with the Church of God, and have been the Children’s Pastors at HIS Community Church since 2008.

She has taught music, gymnastics, has taught Spanish in public and Christian schools, taught art, and she started, and was Administrator for a Christian School. She graduated from Augusta College with a Batchelor of Arts degree in Communications, with a minor in Spanish. They’ve completed the Ministerial Affirmation and Ministerial Internship Programs with the Church of God, and have been the Children’s Pastors at HIS Community Church since 2008.
