Purpose

You can use the Text/HTML Module to do all kinds of stuff on your SnapShot Website.  Here's a quick list of a few ways that you can use it:

  • Add simple text to a page.
  • Use the rich text editor to change the size, color, font and style of the text.
  • Add links that point to other pages, other websites, email addresses, and files on your site.
  • Create a secondary navigation menu by adding image buttons and linking those buttons to other pages on your site.
  • Grab html code from sites like youtube.com or myplaylist.com to play video, audio, or flash banners on your site.
  • Add tables and anchors

Another module that you may want to use on a secondary page like "Purpose," "Vision," "Mission Statement," or "About Us" is the Media Module.  The media module is very simple way that you can play an audio file (like an mp3) or a video file (like a wmv, mpg, or mov.)  You can see how to set this up in our Media Module Support Section.
